First the galaxy sizes have changed to allow up to max 200 stars and even higher through edditing the config file.
The last feature is bigger maps i hated how in the orginal stardrive2 base game maps were limited to 100 stars it felt cramped and small zero has added two things. For example the score victory will appoint who ever has the highest score by 1000 turns the winner tho you can keep playing after. Several new techs and new victory conditions come into play which the base game really needed yet there is no diplomatic vicotry yet which is sad they do spice up the core content and allow you to approach the game in more varried way. The ony way to really 100 percent stop the enemy from influcencing that sector is to take it by force, Combating for sector infulence adds great gameplay and is a great addition.ĭeep outposts also make an appearence in this which can serve several purposes also adds some unique gameplay as these cans slow down invasions tho you will need a fleet backing them up to fully hault large invasion forces. It has an interesting mechanic where nearby sectors to yours will slowly come under your infulence but that influence can be taken away but competeing empires.
